Avicii’s song “Wake Me Up” was released as the 1st single from his debut studio album True, which was released on CD by Island Records and PRMD Music on June 17, 2013. Avicii, Aloe Blacc, and Mike Einziger collaborated on the song. Mike Einziger of Incubus provides acoustic guitar for the single, which also features Aloe Blacc on vocals while Peter Dyer contributes keyboards to the track. At the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Avicii performed “Wake Me Up!” for the first time live on stage.
