“POPSTAR” is a song by DJ Khaled, which features Drake, a Canadian rapper. It was released as the dual lead singles from Khaled’s forthcoming twelfth studio album, Khaled Khaled, on July 17, 2020, alongside their other collaboration “Greece.” OZ, a frequent Drake collaborator, recorded both songs. It was Khaled and Drake’s sixth and seventh collaborations, respectively, and their first since 2017’s “To the Max.” Drake brags about becoming the “popstar” of his generation on the mid-tempo “Popstar.” The single was a bigger hit than “Greece,” debuting at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and first in Drake’s home country of Canada.
