Meghan Trainor’s debut single, “All About That Bass,” was released on Epic Records on June 30, 2014, and is her first single. Trainor’s 1st play (EP) Title (2014), as well as her studio album of the same name, featured the song (2015). Trainor and her collaborator Kevin Kadish wrote the bubblegum pop, doo-wop, and hip hop album “All About That Bass.” Trainor was inspired to compose the song to encourage self-acceptance after struggling with her negative body image as a teenager.
