“How You Remind Me” is a song by Nickelback, Canadian rock band. It was released as the lead single from the album Silver Side Up, their 3rd studio album on August 21, 2001. For later editions of the song, a “Gold Mix” was developed, which had the heavier guitars edited out of the song’s chorus. Chad Kroeger, the band’s lead vocalist and guitarist, composed the song which tasks about his old girlfriend Jodi, the relationship with whom he had a dysfunctional one.
